Mr. Perry Granof, Managing Director

Perry S. Granof is the Managing Director at Granof International Group LLC, where he provides insurance consulting services for directors' and officers' liability, professional indemnity and financial institution coverage, specializing in international exposures. Prior to founding Granof International Group, he served as Vice President and Claims Counsel with Chubb Specialty Claims, where he was responsible for overseeing the direct handling of complex directors' and officers' liability insurance, financial institution coverage and professional indemnity lawsuits filed against non-U.S. insureds as well as U.S. insureds sued within and outside of the United States. Mr. Granof joined Chubb in May 1990 after having managed the Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Claims Department for Continental Insurance Company.

Mr. Granof's insurance career spans over 25 years. In that time, he authored and co-authored numerous articles that appeared in such publications as Juriste International, The Brief, the New York International Law Review, the Tort Trial & Insurance Law Journal and Mealey's Emerging Insurance Disputes, among others. He has spoken extensively on D&O, PI & FI insurance issues throughout North and South America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim at company and industry seminars sponsored by such organizations as the American Bar Association (ABA), the American Conference Institute, C-5, the City Bar of New York, the Chicago Bar Association, the Euro-Legal Forum and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. He has also been quoted in numerous trade periodicals. Mr. Granof, was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honors society and graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Granof is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Washington and the ABA. He serves as Chair Emeritus of the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) International Committee and Chair of the TIPS Professionals' Officers' and Directors' Liability Committee.

Mr. Marc Lanzkowsky, Consultant

Marc Lanzkowsky began his career as an Insurance defense attorney in New York, representing physicians and hospitals against malpractice claims as well as defending insurance companies on coverage issues. After seven years in private practice, Marc became a Specialty Claims Adjuster at Zurich Insurance Company, managing a portfolio of physician, hospital and nursing liability claims. Marc was responsible for over 1,900 professional liability claims and more than $250 million in outstanding reserves. He was promoted to Claims Director for Operational Innovation of the
Specialty Claims Division.

Marc was subsequently recruited to help build the specialty claims department for Arch Insurance Company, where he ultimately became Senior Vice President of Home Office Claims Management and was charged with developing and monitoring all internal processes and best practices for this global Property & Casualty insurer. At Arch he created the company's claims technology platform, used by claims professionals worldwide as part of a fully accessible paperless claims environment. Marc assisted senior management in due diligence reviews of possible acquisitions, and oversaw the litigation management department. By implementing a program to review legal invoices, Marc reduced litigation expenses an average of 11% reducing the company's allocated expense costs. He also created a Special Investigation Unit (SIU) to help combat fraud.

Marc received a bachelor's degree from New York University in 1988 and a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law in 1991.

Mr. Joe Flach, Consultant

Joe Flach is the Founder and Lead Consultant for Safe Harbor Consulting, LLC, a consultancy specializing in Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning. Joe has years of experience working in corporate enterprises and performing as a consultant across a wide variety of industries utilizing various technologies. Joe has assisted many organizations in the planning, training and practicing of crisis management response, contingency operations and recovery solutions. Joe has also been directly involved in assisting a number of organizations in actual response and recovery efforts as well as in conducting after-the-fact evaluations to ensure program improvements are implemented based on lessons learned from real events.

Joe is an accomplished author and public speaker in the fields of Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. He has presented and conducted training around the globe and has been published and/or featured in noted publications such as, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, TheStreet.com and others.
